Tree of Heaven – ailanthus altissima – This herb is more used in Chinese herbal medicine – treats dysentery and diarrhea. It is antispasmodic and a cardiac depressant and has been used to treat heart palpitations, epilepsy and asthma. It has also been used to treat malaria and fevers.
