Sea salts from the Dead Sea have long been revered as a remarkable healing salt. It is a therapeutic grade salt which has 26 essential minerals and moisturizing properties. It is used for rejuvenating the body and relaxing tensed muscles. Epsom salts, on the other hand, are used in the treatment of sore muscles, sprains, bruises etc. The magnesium sulfate in the salts reacts with lactic acid and reduces stiffness in muscles and joints. You will need to mix essential oils with the salts to prepare a curing bath salt.

1. Supplies required: You would need salts – Dead Sea or Epsom kind – depending on your purpose. If you want the properties of both the salts, use both in equal proportions. You will need baking soda, dried herbs, vegetable glycerin, food coloring materials and essential oils to make bath salts.
